Hello, I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

 

I fell in love with mental health right out of nursing school and haven’t looked back since! I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings, including residential, outpatient, and acute inpatient. I earned my MSN from Walden University and also hold a BSN, ADN, and BS in health administration. I am definitely a life-long learner!

 

I have experience in treating all varieties of mental health needs from childhood through geriatrics. My treatment style consists of a full psych evaluation, medication management (when appropriate and desired), and brief psychotherapy. I believe that my patients and I are a team, and will work with you to create a treatment plan that is safe, effective, and in line with your needs and goals.

Special Interests: child and adolescent psychiatry, mood disorders, personality disorders

 

Hobbies: Spending time with my family, reading, crafting

 

Favorite thing about psych care: seeing the progression as people start to make changes and feel better in their lives.
